to the President’s Ball to see the swearing in
of your new Board of Directors. We really
appreciate all of your support! A special
thanks goes out to Casey Hayes for presiding over the ceremony and to the Adams County Democrats for bringing their party to our clubhouse once again.
Fasching is in full swing and every Saturday is another chance for some fun! We had a great delegation from our club at GAMGA in Las Vegas and as both the President and Prinz it was so nice to see everyone having such a wonderful time together. The GAMGA board once again put together a wonderful weekend for us and we can’t wait to attend again next year.

Bring your friends and family and join the community at the TEV Edelweiss Schuhplattler FISH FRY at the clubhouse.
Fish Fry Fridays begin February 24th and end Friday, April 6th. Dinner will be served from 5:00-8:00pm.

All meals will include coleslaw, french fries, bread, dessert and tea or fruit punch.

4th Wieberfasching, the ladies are in charge. Guys we need to keep an eye on them so come dressed in your finest female attire and let’s party like the ladies. Royal Ball February 11th, Prinz Chris and Prinzessin Renate invite you to join them at the 2012 Royal Ball, please wear your semi-formal or formal wear. Let’s make this one of the most elegant events of the year!

Our jugend group has been practicing for the upcoming Bezirksheimatfest which will be held the 23rd and 24th of March in Saint Louis, Missouri. If you would like to attend this with us, please let Chris know so he can help you make arrangements. We will be starting our Friday night Fish Fry on the 24th of February at 5:00pm. What a great way to help our Jugend group and get a great dinner to boot.

The New Year arrived at the club with
supporting members and a few guests present. I heard a lot of nice comments about the decorations. Steve and Cindy did a great job, like always.
The year begins with a few birthdays that I am aware of, special birthday wishes go to our Gründungsmitglied Kaethe Arevian; she celebrated 96 years of life, never complains and always has a joke on her lips. Send her a card, she will love it. We also celebrated Dora Christensen’s birthday the end of January along with long time member Waltraut Duncan. Congratulations to all and good health, so we may see you at the club sometimes.

I will be at the club Saturday nights in February to accept payment of 2012 membership dues.
Just a reminder, regular and social
membership is $40. Senior membership (for individuals who are 65 years old and have been members for 10 years) is
$20 and junior members are $5.00.

Our shooting year has begun. We
would like to welcome back Siglinda
Ferley who decided to come back to our
group this year.
Our group has already started working
hard on the national Schützenfest to be
held July 20 here at our club. We have
put together flyers for club members to
take to GAMGA, we are putting the finishing touches on our invitations, and we are seeking out any clubs we may have
forgotten last year.

Hello Everyone,
Well the new year is well under way. We do hope everyone had a safe and fun filled trip to Las Vegas for GAMGA. We are all looking to the Maskenball and the end of Karnival where we can all wind down a bit. A quick reminder that we do have practice every Tuesday at 7:30 (weather permitting)
We’d like to invite all of you to come out and dance with us. Even if you have never danced before, now would be a great time to
start. What better way to meet those new year’s resolutions of weight loss than to have fun dancing.
